Renovation and expansion of the Contact Station for Afton State Park:
Completion in 2005

At Afton State Park, the existing stone contact station was considered useful, but too small, and required many technical upgrades and new service features.  The expansion of this building was a design challenge in that the previous architecture did not easily lend itself to growth.  Regardless, the design team presented an economical solution for expanding the building, while maintaining the original architectural theme, and creating a functional and engaging space.
