Vadnais Heights North Service Center
The Vadnais Heights North Service Center was designed as a new facility to include a Public Works facility, a Fire Station, and a Community Area:

The project includes the design of 72,500 square feet of public works, fire station and community area spaces. During the schematic design phase of the project the firm participated in numerous meetings which included public workshops, city council and staff meetings to determine the scope and feasibility of the project. The final program for the facility includes a public works office, locker rooms, vehicle maintenance, vehicle storage, a public works staff meeting and lunch area, a fire station, dispatch office, apparatus bays, a dayroom for the fire staff, sleeping quarters for the fire staff and volunteers, extensive storage areas, a community area with seating for over 300, conference rooms, and a community commercial kitchen area. The facility was constructed on the previous Public Works and City Hall site, and was completed in the fall of 2010.
In 2011, this facility was given the Silver Station Style Design Award in the Shared Facilities Category by Fire Chief Magazine.
In 2011, this facility was given the Interior Beauty of Wood Award by Woodworks (for non-residential construction).
